Tuoi Tre Newspaper and VNVC will hold the closing and award ceremony for 147 outstanding entries of the "Vaccination - Untold Stories" contest this evening at the Sheraton Hotel, HCMC.
Tonight, the contest winners will attend the Gala to receive awards for the "Vaccination - Untold Stories" contest, which has evoked much emotion over the past 2 months.
The two grand prizes - the highest awards - are "My child will no longer have to 'if' or 'if only'" by Nguyen Thi Sa Ri, and "Unhealable pains" by Le Ha Doan. Each grand prize receives 30 million VND.
Ten first prizes at 10 million VND each, 15 second prizes at 5 million, and 20 third prizes at 3 million VND.
One hundred consolation prizes at 2 million VND each, totaling 500 million VND in awards.
In addition to the above awards, there is a 20 million VND prize for the VNVC staff member with the highest-scoring entry, and another 20 million VND for the highest-scoring Tuoi Tre staff member.
After 2 months, the contest attracted nearly 600 entries from across the country, including Son La, Lao Cai, Phu Yen, Ca Mau...
205 entries were shortlisted for the final round. Judges selected 147 outstanding pieces for awards.
Each entry is a touching story, a memory, or a journey of changing awareness on the vital importance of vaccination for health and disease prevention.
Many entries were published on tuoitre.vn, gaining community interest and raising awareness on vaccine necessity.
