On the morning of May 8, 2025, the Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals solemnly held the Ceremony to announce the Decision on the reappointment of Dr. Ngo Thu Huong as Deputy Director at the Center's headquarters, 418 Vinh Hung, Thanh Tri, Hoang Mai, Hanoi.
Attending the announcement were Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Health Ministry's Party Committee, Standing Deputy Minister of Health; Ms. Le Lan Hương - Deputy Director of the Organization and Personnel Department, Ministry of Health, along with all leaders, officials, and employees of the Center.

At the ceremony, a representative from the Organization and Personnel Department announced Decision No. 1381-QD/BYT on the reappointment of Ms. Ngo Thu Huong to the position of Deputy Director in charge of professional affairs for a term of 5 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Health Ministry's Party Committee, Standing Deputy Minister of Health, congratulated Dr. Ngo Thu Huong on being trusted by the Ministry of Health, Party Committee, and Board of Directors to continue as Deputy Director. Dr. Ngo Thu Huong has excellently fulfilled assigned tasks, contributing actively to the construction and development of the Center.
Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen highly appreciated Dr. Ngo Thu Huong's sense of responsibility, management capacity, and political quality, especially in advising the Party Committee and Board of Directors on professional work and vaccine production, contributing to enhancing the Center's leadership and combativeness.
In the new term, the Deputy Minister expects Dr. Ngo Thu Huong to continue promoting her experience, courage, and spirit of solidarity to complete tasks excellently, with a special focus on sustainable development. Besides maintaining current vaccine production and improving technology for higher productivity and quality, the Center needs to develop new vaccine and biological products.
Accepting the task, Dr. Ngo Thu Huong sincerely thanked the Ministry of Health's Permanent Party Committee and Leadership, and the Center's Party Committee and Board of Directors for their trust; she thanked all officials and workers for their support and companionship in the Center's common development and political mission over the past term.
Seriously absorbing the Deputy Minister's guidance, Dr. Ngo Thu Huong affirmed she will continue to dedicate herself, strive for learning, and proactively innovate for better work quality and efficiency. She committed to promoting responsibility, solidarity, and creativity to build a comprehensively strong and growing Center.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Hien - Party Secretary and Center Director, representing the Party Committee and Leadership, expressed joy at the reappointment of Dr. Ngo Thu Huong; this demonstrates the prestige, contributions, and results of Dr. Huong and the Center as recognized by the Ministry of Health.
This provides the Center with stability and motivation for future development. He thanked the Ministry of Health Leadership, especially Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen; the Organization and Personnel Department, and other Ministry departments for their support, promising to maintain solidarity and build a strong Center to fulfill all Ministry-assigned tasks.
Founded 31 years ago with one Polio vaccine (OPV), the Center developed 3 more (Rota, Measles, Measles-Rubella) from 2010-2018. Since 2023, it has been receiving WHO's promising mRNA technology. To meet high standards, the Director proposed Ministry of Health support for a modern production facility for OPV, Rota, and mRNA vaccines.
