In a competitive atmosphere to celebrate the country's major holidays and the health sector, on August 23, 2025, in Hai Phong city, the Trade Union of the Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals participated in the Sports Festival organized by Emulation Block No. 9 - Vietnam Health Trade Union in 2025.
This is a meaningful activity aimed at strengthening solidarity, exchange, learning, and health training between units in the block, while also spreading the health training movement.
Based on the operational plan of the grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee of the Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals for organizing propaganda activities, celebrating major holidays, and important events in 2025; with the approval of the Party Committee and Board of Directors, the Center's Trade Union participated in the Block 9 Sports Festival in 2025. The program was attended by the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Trade Union Executive Committee, and 40 athletes who are Center trade union members.
After the opening ceremony, athletes competed in various sports such as men's football, women's football, tug-of-war, and swimming across different age groups. All events took place in a vibrant and exciting atmosphere, with a spirit of honesty, nobility, and solidarity. The Center's Trade Union participated in men's football, women's football, and swimming.
After an exciting day, the Sports Festival selected outstanding collectives and individuals for awards. The organizers praised the enthusiasm and dedication of the athletes, affirming the event as a venue for strengthening bonds and improving cultural life for medical sector staff.
The Center's Trade Union was honored with awards: Women's Football Championship, Men's Football Second Prize; member Tran Van Son (QC2) won first prize in 50m swimming (under 40), member Nguyen Manh Dung (Technical Dept) won second prize in 50m and 100m swimming (over 45).
The 2025 Block 9 Sports Festival was a great success, becoming a major festival for trade union members, contributing to a rich and sustainable spiritual life while affirming the Center's tradition of solidarity, dynamics, and creativity in the emulation movements of the Vietnam Health Trade Union as well as the Center's activities.
The Block 9 Sports Festival is a meaningful arena to strengthen solidarity within the block; additionally, the Center's Trade Union helped spread the physical education movement, contributing to building a health workforce that is professionally strong and physically healthy. The festival left many good impressions, motivating staff and union members in the block and Center to continue competing enthusiastically and fulfill 2025 tasks excellently.
