Environment Production Department 2
General Introduction
Environment Production Department 2 is a specialized unit under the Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals, operating at the 418 Vinh Hung facility.
The department is responsible for producing specialized media and solutions for vaccine and biological production and testing at this facility.
Functions and Tasks
Environment Production Department 2 functions to produce specialized media and solutions for:
- Vaccine production (Measles, Rubella, Measles-Rubella combination)
- Quality control and related professional activities at the 418 Vinh Hung facility
- Producing media and solutions used for Measles, Rubella, and Measles-Rubella combination vaccine production and testing.
- Monitoring cleanroom environment during production (including static and dynamic conditions)
- Water system quality management: UFW (Ultra Filtered Water), WFI (Water for Injection), PS (Pure Steam)
- Equipment management: calibration, validation, and equipment calibration according to procedures
- Management of chemicals and materials used in production
- Management of working environment, personnel, and department records
- Orientation for new staff and periodic internal professional training
- Coordinating with relevant departments to fulfill common assigned tasks
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director and Center Leadership
