Organization – Administration Department
General Introduction
The Organization – Administration Department was established as soon as the Sabin Vaccine Production Science Center (now the Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals) began operations.
The first person to serve as Head of Department was Mr. Luong Huu Phan.
From 2002, the Head of Department position was transferred to Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuy.
Since 2005, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Thanh has been the Head of Department, continuing to manage and develop the unit's professional activities.
Functions and Tasks
The Organization – Administration Department is a core unit, acting as a general advisor and supporting the coordination of the Center's overall activities. Its main functions and tasks include:
- Advising on organizational structure and personnel; managing records and policies for officials and employees according to law and internal regulations.
- Managing administration, correspondence, and archiving, ensuring smooth, timely, and effective internal information flow.
- Organizing events, conferences, workshops, and emulation, commendation, and anniversary activities within the unit.
- Handling logistics, managing facilities, assets, and tools to support professional and administrative activities.
- Coordinating with professional departments to organize and supervise regulations and office discipline; ensuring a civilized and professional working environment.
- Advising on the development, review, and implementation of internal regulations and statutes.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Center's Board of Directors.
