  1. Improving training methods to enhance GMP capacity for POLYVAC staff.
  2. Researching optimal indices in the Rotavin-M1 vaccine production process in Vietnam.
  3. Researching the toxicity of Rotavin vaccine.

Primary participant in projects:

  1. Epidemiological research on Rotavirus diarrhea in Vietnamese children (1998–2005 phase).
  2. Research on creating Rotavirus strains as candidate strains for Rotavirus vaccine production against diarrhea in Vietnamese children.
  3. Research on applying the production process of Measles, Polio, and Rota antiserums for vaccine testing.
  4. Researching the process of manufacturing standard vaccines for Measles, Polio, and Rota to test vaccine efficacy.
  5. Phase III clinical trial, randomized, partially double-blind, controlled to compare immunogenicity and safety of liquid ROTAVIN vaccine with frozen ROTAVIN-M1 vaccine (currently licensed) in healthy Vietnamese children.
  6. Evaluating the effectiveness of Rotavirus diarrhea vaccine in children in Vietnam.
